Dr. Lorrin Koran is Professor of Psychiatry and Director of the Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Clinic at Stanford University Medical Center, Stanford, California. He received his Bachelors from Harvard College, magna cum laude, and went on to Harvard School of Medicine to complete his studies in medicine. Presently, he is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, and a Member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the OC Foundation. Dr. Koran has written more than 140 psychiatric journal articles and chapters for professional texts. His book, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders in Adults: A Comprehensive Clinical Guide, was published by Cambridge University Press.
