Steven J. Feigenberg, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center in Baltimore, Maryland. He is the Director of the Clinical Research Program and the co-Director of the endowed Program of Excellence in Technology-related Translational Research and its associated resources. Previously, Dr. Feigenberg was a Member of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Feigenberg received his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia and his residency in radiation oncology at the University of Florida. Dr. Feigenberg is board certified in radiation oncology.
Dr. Feigenberg specializes in image guidance, stereotactic body radiotherapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, lung cancer, and head and neck cancers. His research interests include stereotactic body radiotherapy, lung cancer, and head and neck cancer. Dr. Feigenberg is author or coauthor of 100 original articles, book chapters, and abstracts that have appeared in publications such as the Journal of Thoracic Oncology, Cancer, Journal of Clinical Oncology, and International Journal of Radiation Oncology*Biology*Physics. He holds memberships in the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, the American College of Radiology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Radium Society, and the European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology. Dr. Feigenberg is also a member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer and Thymic Malignancies Panels since 2004.
