Timothy M. Kuzel, M.D., is Professor of Medicine at the Feinberg School of Medicine of Northwestern University and an attending physician at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Additionally, he is Director of the Clinical Research Office at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University.

Dr. Kuzel received his medical degree from the University of Michigan. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine as well as a fellowship in hematology/oncology at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University. He is board certified in hematology, oncology, and internal medicine and is a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners.

Dr. Kuzel received the American Cancer Society Clinical Oncology Career Development Award and was the recipient of a teaching award from the Feinberg School of Medicine. He has authored or coauthored over 250 journal articles, editorials, and book chapters and co-wrote Cancer Treatment and Research: Immunoconjugate Therapy of Hematologic Malignancies and the Robert H. Lurie Cancer Center Handbook of Hematology/Oncology.

Dr. Kuzel participates with numerous national, state, hospital, university/medical school, and cancer center committees and is an active member of professional societies such as the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group, and International Society for Biologic Therapy of Cancer. Dr. Kuzel is member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) Kidney/Testicular Cancers Panel and the NCCN Bladder Cancer Panel.
