Judith Feinberg, M.D. is a Professor of Medicine and Associate Chair for Faculty Development at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She is currently the principal investigator for the Cincinnati AIDS Clinical Trials Unit, where she has worked since 1995. Her professional experience also has included an associate professorship at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and work involving the research focused on the treatment of HIV and its complications at the National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Diseases. She is a board-certified specialist in Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine.
In addition, Dr. Feinberg has chaired the Coordinating Committee on Therapeutics at the Office of AIDS Research of the National Institutes of Health. She is an active member of the American Academy of HIV Medicine, having served as the chair of the National Board several years ago. She has been a member of many AIDS task forces and advisory panels, including the FDA's Antiviral Drugs Advisory Panel and the Perinatal Guidelines Working Group. She is also involved with numerous professional organizations, including the Infectious Diseases Society of America, the American College of Physicians, the International AIDS Society, and the International Society for Antiviral Research.
Dr. Feinberg writes extensively about the management of HIV/AIDS and its associated complications in major medical journals as well as in recent books on AIDS. She is currently associate editor of AIDS Clinical Care and of Infectious Diseases in Clinical Practice.
